Moist Mentions: Scotty's Brewhouse Piggy Mac Grilled Cheese
![]()
Grilled Cheese. We've all had it, and we all love it. But just because we all love something doesn't mean it can't be better, right? And what makes every food better? Any meat from a pig. That's exactly what the genius minds at Scotty's Brewhouse were thinking when they thought of the Piggy Mac Grilled Cheese.
Cheese started out as a plain old dairy product from goats and cows. It was nothing special. People ate it, and that was that. Then one day, someone got the notion to ask, "What if I ate this cheese...with bread!?" That's how the first cheese sandwich was thought of, probably. Since then, there have been many innovations with cheese. "What if we take this bread and cheese and grill it!?" someone asked. "What if we melted this cheese onto some macaroni!?" another proclaimed. Boom. Dynamite. Cheese was now something special. It could make nearly any food taste better.
Then along came Scotty, laughing. "I will take your grills and your macaronis and raise you...a pig." Everyone's jaws dropped to the floor in awe, and Scotty shoved this behemoth of a grilled cheese sandwich in all of their moist mouths. No one was prepared for the barbecue pulled pork. No one. They all slipped into an ecstatic food coma, not waking up until three days later and craving more. Everyone was asking, "What's in that thing??" Well, we're here to tell you.
